Pre Chinese New Year Celebrations

I am sure many of the 27th would agree with me that we had the happiest and most fun OM since we stepped into office. We actually 'lao yu sheng' and had steamboat along the AS6 walkway (hopefully no one from the school admin reads this), whilst going through the second half of our OM. It all started out with shopping for food with reuben and tienkwan at ntuc, and somehow even going shopping was fun. Guess I was really excited that for once in so many months, all 18 of us in the 27th would finally be having dinner together. It was what the exco had always wanted, and finally it has happened.

The last few days made me realise how fortunate and blessed I am to be a part of the 27th, and to have them as a big part of my university life. When we were doing the whole 'lao yu sheng' thingy, I felt a great sense of warmth and togetherness, seeing the smiles and sense of joy on everyone's face, it was great. It somehow made us forget about the hectic school work and arts club projects we are all busy with. Just 2 days ago we were happily giving out and receiving valentines gifts from each other, and now this. I would say this has been a great week for us, well for me at least.

Finally managed to complete and hand in the 2101 research proposal. Once again, there was alot of rushing and last minute work involved. But well, guess that is just me. Also managed to meet up with my 2219 project mates, and guess what, I am the only year one in the group, with 2 of them being honours students, 2 of them year 2 students, and another a year 3 student. At first it felt a little bit strange and funny, having a project meeting with so many seniors, but I would say that I am already feeling very comfortable speaking to and working with them, and I am sure things will turn out very well. I am sure I have alot to learn from them.

So fast, time has flown by again. It's the end of the first half of this semester, which also means I have that little time left to catch up on all that I have fallen behind.
